Micro-Needling Pen (Numbing cream will be given prior to the treatment and should be applied 4 hours before to the treatment)

After the skin has been numbed the Micro-Needling Pen is passed over the skin and creates micro injuries in the skin to trigger new collagen synthesis. Each micro injury triggers the body to produce new collagen and elastin to fill the microscopic wound which will reduce wrinkles, fine lines and scars. This procedure has no major side effects and beautiful results are noticeable in a short period of time and costs much less expensive than laser and light treatments.

Benefits:

Micro-Needling which is also known as collagen induction therapy stimulates collagen production and actually strengthens the epidermis. The loss of elastin and collagen causes the skin to become thin, saggy and will create wrinkles. It also is proven to diminish the look of surgery scars, acne scars and stretch marks. The treatment effectively and powerfully stops the early signs of aging as well as preventing new wrinkles and fine lines from occurring.

Rezenerate Nano Needling

Benefits of a Rezenerate Nano-Needling:

A Rezenerate Nanofacial is right for you if:

The difference between the a micro-needling and Rezenerate Nano Needle is the depth that the needles are able to penetrate into the skin. Nano-needling only punctures the first layer of the skin (epidermis) while micro-needling penetrates into the deep dermis. Nano-needling stimulates collagen production in the skin by safely infusing active ingredients through tiny nano-channels. This is very similar, but less invasive than micro-needling and allows up to 97% product absorption.

NANO VS. MICRO-NEEDLING

Both the Nano and Micro-Needling treatments use a pen like device that oscillates a tip up and down to stimulate a skin reaction. They both induce cell turnover, serum infusion and provoke the healing process that results in skin transformation.

The Micro-Needling Difference

To understand the difference let’s start with Micro-Needling. This procedure uses an actual needle cartridge with either 12 or 36 fine needles that can be adjusted to different depths. This allows the Esthetician to use superficial settings (0.5 mm) for delicate areas around the eyes and deeper depths (2.0-2.5 mm) for acne scars and wrinkles.

The micro-injuries caused by the procedure stimulate the body’s natural healing process, increasing collagen and elastin production to promote skin rejuvenation. This procedure can also be effective for pigmentation, reducing pore definition and helping to reduce and smooth out acne scaring.

Nano Needling Difference

Nano needling on the other hand works a little different. It does use the same type of oscillating motion to treat the skin but the cartridge encompasses 81 silicone tips. These microscopic hair-like cones separate the cells within the epidermis to allow active products to be pushed into the skin. Nano-needling only affects the epidermis, treating within the upper .25 mm of the skin. The benefits of this serum infusion treatment include pigmentation reduction, increased cell turnover, skin rejuvenation and an immediate glow with NO downtime.

Both procedures have the ability to transform the look and feel of your skin!
